Changes in Dec 9th 2012 Version
Improvement for the Main Window that is functioning as Workspace Manager.
Added new page in Options Dialog. This page allows user to map 15 keyboard/mouse shortcuts (for Mouse Middle Click) to commands found in MenuBar of the Main Window.
There are 15 keyboard/mouse shortcuts based on Mouse MiddleClick:
- one shortcut is MiddleClick itself without pressing and holding any modifier key at the same time
- 7 shortcuts are Middle click in combinations with pressed left side modifier keys (Left Alt, Left Ctrl, Left Shift)
- 7 shortcuts are Middle click in combinations with pressed right side modifier keys (Right Alt, Right Ctrl, Right Shift)
Those keyboard/mouse shortcuts are working when middle click is done on:
- title bar of LauncherTree, Selector and Main Windows
- background of the Main Window
Advantages:
- user has direct access to commands, no need to use MenuBar (which can be hidden), Popup Menu or System Menu of the Main Window.
- works even when background of the Main Window is covered by Terminal Windows, as shortcuts can be executed on the titlebar of the Main Window (and also on the titlebars of the LauncherTree and Selector Windows, when they are visible).
